Elsa's Italian Grill

Hostess sat us immediately. Server came and got our drink order without hesitation. Appetizer came out before our food as expected. We were checked on multiple times from several servers during our meal and they made sure our service was excellent. The Alfredo pizza was delicious! Would definitely order again.

Pros- the food was good and the waitress was super kind. Cons- the restaurant could use a really good cleaning. This is the second time I have been here and I thought the first time must have been just after a rush or something. But no, it was dirty again in the late afternoon. The salt and pepper shakers are sticky and so is the oil bottle. The floor on the way to the restroom is sticky as well. The blinds and window sills are caked with food and crumbs. I just don’t get how they have such high reviews on food alone. Is t anyone paying attention to the atmosphere around them. So disappointed that I am sure I won’t be back.

Spectacular. I hate Italian food, but I love this place! Everything my wife and I have tried has been superb! The pizza is perfect and the Greek menu is an awesome alternative when you are vibing with the Italian side of things. The service and staff are very hospitable and attentive too. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

First time there but we met family that eats there fairly regularly. The food was delicious & the waitress (Danielle) was incredibly sweet & wonderful. Their were 6 of us so multiple dishes were ordered & everyone loved their food. Our group can speak to the Gyros, house salads, chicken parmesan, Gyro pizza, & chicken venito. Overall we couldn't believe how delicious everything was for such a great price.

Elsa’s Italian Grill Calamari/Greek Salad/ Chicken Scaloppine/Linguine Frutti De Mare/Limoncello Mascara Cake (lemon cake) 18635 1-10 Vidor, Texas (Take the Timberland exit) The owners of Elsa’s Greek Grill on Dowlen in Beaumont are now the owners of Elsa’s Italian Grill located in Vidor. I had the privilege of having lunch there recently and my visit was no short of amazing. My overall opinion of this new restaurant that has been open a little over a month was outstanding. All details of this restaurant give you this Italian feel. The colors, furniture, plants, and lighting speak Italian. The atmosphere is chic and modern. The ambiance is classy and upscale. The service was impeccable. Make sure you ask for Angel. My lunch started with fried calamari for appetizers, crispy and fresh with house-made marinara sauce gave rise to a great start. Next was Elsa’s Greek Salad. I requested this over the house salad mainly because the Greek dressing is remarkable. The memory of this popular salad with its house-made dressing is unforgettable, not to mention fresh and delicious. My entrees (yes I had two) were the Chicken Scaloppine and the Linguine Frutti De Mare. I would order both again. The Chicken Scaloppine is chicken cooked in a lemon butter sauce served over sauteed spinach. Delish! The Linguine Frutti De Mare (my favorite) was a bowl of salmon, scallops, mussels, clams, and shrimp in a magnificent white wine and marinara sauce (pink sauce) tossed in linguine pasta. The pasta was perfect in every way. Freshness and high quality you will taste in every bite of their Italian cuisine. I have no words to express how much I enjoyed this dish. The presentation is as beautiful as the taste. This is a must-try. My lunch ended with a slice of Limoncello Mascarpone Cake (lemon cake). It was moist and delicious with a strawberry and caramel drizzle. Such a beautiful presentation with a sweet, and satisfying way to finish lunch. I recommend this place a million times. A great experience for lunch, a girl’s night out, business lunch, entertaining out-of-town guests, or a first date. You will not be disappointed. If anyone says anything less, they are not being honest. To all our Vidor and Orange Best Biters, this place comes highly recommended. I will say this; as a person who generally does not like fish what so ever, i asked the server if the fish was more of a pungent/robust flavor like other fish they did not know but they were prompt at getting me the answer. They probably do not let the servers taste the specials so they can properly upsale, but that's fine. The grouper special they offered was phenomenal, that's coming from a person who has not had a lot of fish dishes that appealed to my picky tastes, when it comes to fish. The server was very attentive to our needs and served us well. Only down side was the lighting was too bright. I wanted a nice mildly lit atmosphere for a date night with the wife, but I don't blame them for that. I had the grouper fish special and caprice salad. Both of them were excellent. My wife had the Veal parmesean and it was stupendous. We shared the tiramisu and neither of us were overwhelmed by the sweetness nor coffee. It came to a perfect balance and harmony. Overall, I would recommend this place 100%.

We stopped here by chance during a road trip heading to Louisiana. After having been eating fast food during the trip, this was such a great place for a change. The food was delicious, fresh and priced fairly. I greatly recommend it!
